The Warrior Women came together in brilliant spring weather to celebrate their vision, strength, power and creativity. Chalice Well Gardens were the perfect setting just nestling below the Tor with the waters bringing healing and cleansing.
Warrior Woman The group bonded really strongly and there were some very magical moments. We all brought staffs which we decorated and blessed which clearly held the energy of each woman and became powerful symbols of the growing warrior woman. We shared personal stories both in ceremony and informally around the dining table. There was much laughter and delicious food. We connected with the wisdoms of Wood / Spring energy from the east and west traditions. We decorated our bodies in preparation for a powerful private ceremony beginning with drumming on the meadow with the night skies filled with stars. We went to the Tor both at night and early morning where we were able to gain a bigger picture from the views at the top. We spent time rooting and grounding ourselves and with the trees to gain inspiration and guidance. Each woman was guided through her personal journey by her own particular goddess and the wisdoms from other oracle cards. Finally all the energy was captured in the making of Medicine Shields and affirmation cards for each other. By the end each woman was more clear of her direction and aware of her own unique warrior woman. The photos are here and in the gallery, fell free to leave your comments (click "read more" below):

This two hour workshop was offered as part of the Goddess Conference. A Beautiful Ceremony Twenty eight women and two young girls came together amidst the corn to celebrate many aspects of Earth.Goddess Conference We had a great time together: dancing, singing, sharing and being wonderful creative women. Women made corn crowns and honoured each other’s past and future harvests by crowning one another in a very beautiful and moving ceremony. We ended the afternoon by sharing the fruits of the mother with delicious bread and Chalice Well honey. Women then left to plant their seeds in the landscape for their intentions for the next cycle of the year. |

Tor Group Residential Retreat Wednesday 10th - Friday 12th May 2006 Chalice Well Garden, Glastonbury. This was an amazing event where the magic of fire was felt deeply in all our hearts. It fell on the eve of the Beltane full moon and the weather was absolutely glorious and really heated our Fires brilliantly! The women created a wonderful sacred circle where belts of power were woven to bring in healing, transformation and wisdom. They said: "It was transformative. Exactly what I needed. It was a good balance of play/cry/learn." "Thank you so much for the forbidden points to allow me to reclaim my womanhood and to let me see how my life can be changed in the future." "A magical experience I will always carry in my heart." "I felt truly at home here, loved, safe – the energy felt wonderful." "The candlelit walk in the Chalice Garden was an amazing experience." |

A small group of women came together for a deeply transformational experience at Chalice Well. Metal energy was explored and a lot of grieving was bravely faced and healed, allowing space for new experiences to enter. Women also honoured their ancestors in emotional and very moving ceremonies indoors, outside in the dark of the night by the Well and then finally with a fire to burn away all that was no longer needed. The sky was clear and spectacular with a shooting star to bless the events. Women left with their self-esteems raised and with a growing power. It was great to witness.
They said: "Wonderful! Empowering, transformative, healing, enlightening and FUN!!". |
